Your guide to Planet Pokitaru in Ratchet & Clank (2016)! Discover the optional Pumping Station, grab the O2 Mask, and find a Gold Bolt at the Top of the Waterfall.
Alright, so you've got the Thrusterpack, which means we can now check out the Pumping Station on Planet Pokitaru. It's totally optional, but hey, who doesn't love a little extra loot and gear?
Walkthrough
- 1First things first, find that bolt crank thingy near your ship. Use your new Thrusterpack on it to spin it around. This'll disable the barrier blocking the Pumping Station entrance. Swim over and use the teleporter to get inside.
- 2Once you're in, swim to the next room. You'll run into some Amoeboids here – they're the only enemies in this whole station, so just take 'em out. Then, grab your Hydrodisplacer and use it to lower the water level.
- 3Head back to that first room. Now you can use your Trespasser to unlock the door. Go back to the room where you lowered the water and raise it back up.
- 4With the water back up, swim through that newly unlocked door. You'll find yourself in a room packed with more Amoeboids. This is a super fun spot to mess around with the Proton Drum or the Groovitron if you've got 'em!
- 5Once you've slimed your last fiend, look for a Thruster Lock in the middle of the room. Use it to make some platforms appear that slide in and out of the walls. Use these to get to the top of the room. Watch out for those explosive crates on the last platform; getting knocked off here will send you all the way back down!
- 6Before you hit the Trespasser puzzle, make sure to blow up the metal crates on that last platform with your Fusion Grenade. Inside one of them, you'll find a Holocard Deck. Grab it!
- 7Now, open the door with the Trespasser. Get ready for another swim, but this time, it's loaded with explosive crates and tons of bolts. Feel free to blow them all up for extra bolts, but the real prize is at the end.
- 8In the final room, you'll face more Amoeboids. After you've dealt with them, find another Thruster Lock. This one opens up a barrier revealing something awesome: the O2 Mask! This means you can breathe underwater indefinitely, so no more drowning worries.
- 9Exit the Pumping Station and head back to your ship. We've got one more optional objective to tackle.
- 10Now, with the O2 Mask equipped, getting to the Top of the Waterfall is a breeze. From your ship, head towards the first boat with Felton and jump into the water.
- 11Swim away from the boat until you spot a huge wall of explosive crates. This marks the entrance to the path leading to the top of the waterfall. Swim up through this hole and jump out.
- 12You'll need to use your Swingshot to reach the next area. Here, you'll encounter some bird-like enemies, Pufftoids, and those crab guys. Keep pushing forward.
- 13As you reach the very top, a Telepathopus will show up. Take it down to complete this objective and snag a shiny Gold Bolt!
