Think of them as the goodies that'll boost your car's stats and change how it handles. What are Performance Parts? Basically, these are items you'll install on your cars to make them better. They're split into a few main sections: * Engine (ICE): This covers everything from the core engine components like Induction, ECU, Fuel System, Exhaust, Aspiration, and Nitrous System, to even doing an Engine Swap. * Motor (EV): If you're driving one of the electric rides, you'll be looking at parts like Battery Cooling, ECU, Power System, Motor Components, Aspiration, and Overcharge. * Chassis: This is where you'll find Suspension, Brakes, and Tyres. Crucial for handling and stopping power. * Drivetrain: This includes the Clutch, Gearbox, and Differential. These affect how your power gets to the wheels. * Auxiliary: Other bits and pieces that can help. * Pursuit Tech: For when you need to deal with the cops. Unlocking Parts: The Upgrade Garage Here's the deal: you won't have access to all the best parts right away. You need to upgrade Rydell's garage. The better the garage, the higher quality parts you can buy. Keep an eye on your bank account for this! * Sport Parts: These are available right from the start, costing $0. * Pro Parts: You'll need to spend $7,500 to upgrade your garage to unlock these. Important Note: Upgrades you buy for your garage in the single-player Story mode don't carry over to Lakeshore Online, and vice-versa.
