After defeating Kenji, a cutscene (a non-interactive cinematic the game plays automatically) will play, signifying your conquest of Downtown.

You will be presented with a choice of 2 cards. To attempt to win Kenji's Mazda RX-7 as a pinkslip, select the first 4 cards and try to get them in order.

If you successfully win the pinkslip, Kenji's Mazda RX-7 will be automatically unlocked in the "Custom" section of your Quick Race Menu.

Tips

Choose your pinkslip cards wisely.
Beating Kenji means you have conquered Downtown.
Yumi will join your crew as your 2nd Scout, offering her perspective on events.
You can use Yumi in any race.

After defeating Kenji, you move on to face Angie, the 2nd boss in Palmont City, in the Kempton territory. You receive Kenji's Mazda RX-7 as a pinkslip, saving you cash. If you missed the pinkslip, you can choose to continue with your RX-8 or purchase another car. Every race and territory conquered in this area unlocks Tier 2 cars and parts. Races in this territory award between 12,000 and 18,000 Cash.

Yumi, as a scout, provides a 10% discount on parts and a 25% Nitrous Boost. Neville can provide a money boost in races.

To challenge Angie, you must first acquire the following territories:

Race 1: Game Mode: Circuit, Track: Beachfront, Length: 8.0 Kms, Laps: 2, Record: 2:58:00, Cash: 12,000, Unlock: Stripe Vinyls (1-12). After this race, Angie and her crew will appear, and you will watch a movie showcasing Angie's 21st Street crew. You will race against Tier 2 Muscle Cars.
Race 2: Game Mode: Sprint, Track: Dover and Lepus, Length: 5.5 Kms, Laps: 1, Record: 2:09:00, Cash: 12,000, Unlock: Metallic Paint.

Conquering Morgan Beach unlocks the Volkswagen Golf R32.
