EXTRA BOMB FOR EXTREME ONLY (2 OF 3)

Find and destroy the C4 bomb on the moving conveyor belt in Metal Gear Solid 2. Learn where to find the Mine Detector and other items in this guide.

Alright, this next part is where things get a little… creative. You're in a room with these cloudy yellow markings everywhere, and conveyor belts are just going wild. Put it all together, and you'll realize the C4 you need to destroy is on a box that's constantly moving!

Here’s the plan: Head to the northwest part of the room. Switch to first-person view and keep an eye on the conveyor belt just to the south. Oh, and before you do that, make sure to take out the camera to the south – you don't want it spotting you. Now, get your Coolant Spray ready and wait. Soon enough, you'll see the C4 on a big grey box as it scrolls past. Start spraying it down and follow it as it moves. You should be able to get it in one go, but if not, no worries – just wait for it to come around again and try once more.

While you're in the area, there are a few other useful items to grab. Near the guard on the south side of the boxes, you'll find M4 BULLET x30 (though you won't have the M4 rifle just yet). Over on the north side, under the conveyor belt, there's some STUN.G. And if you head to the southwest part of the room, you'll find some stairs. Go down them, and next to some boxes, you'll find the MINE.D (Mine Detector). Grab this – it's super handy later on. Right next to the Mine Detector on the ground, to the left, there's a vent with a RATION inside. Don't miss out on these pickups!
