Boss Encounter & Break Mechanic

Stats / Weaknesses:

• Bosses often have unique stats and abilities that differ from standard enemies.
• Exploiting the weapon triangle (sword > axe > lance > sword) is crucial for inflicting the 'Break' status.
• Certain Emblems and skills can provide advantages against specific boss types.

Phases:

1. Phase 1: Initial Engagement - Assess the boss's movement, attack patterns, and any immediate threats. Begin applying pressure using the weapon triangle to initiate a Break.
2. Phase 2: Broken State - Once a boss is Broken, they lose their turn and take increased damage. This is the prime opportunity to unleash powerful attacks and skills.
3. Phase 3: Recovery and Escalation - The boss will recover from the Break. Be prepared for potentially enhanced attacks or new patterns. Continue to manage the weapon triangle and re-apply the Break status.
4. Phase 4: Final Push - As the boss's health dwindles, they may enter a desperate state. Focus all remaining resources to finish the encounter before they can mount a significant counter-offensive.

Strategy:

• Prioritize units that can initiate a Break on the boss.
• Utilize Chain Attacks to maximize damage during the Broken state.
• Manage your Engage abilities and skills effectively to exploit openings.
