Rule The Street (RTS) Setup: Select RTS from the main menu, choose a file name, and then either select an existing player or create a new one. After that, pick your squad from a group of novice players.

Creating a Player: In the 'Create a Player' section, you can customize your player's body (height, weight, skin color, tattoos), head (facial features, head shape), and kit (clothing, team colors). Some kit items are unlocked as you progress.

Upgrading Your Player: You start with 2000 'skill bills' to upgrade your player's stats. Skill bills are awarded after winning games, with more awarded based on points scored and tricks performed. Distribute skill bills equally across five skills: Speed, Shot Power, Shot Accuracy, Tricks, and Tackling. Player types (e.g., defender, forward) have different base skill ratings.

Picking Your Squad: After upgrading your player, select novice teammates. The available positions are: 2 Goalkeepers, 6 Defenders, 4 Midfielders, and 4 Forwards. A suggested squad composition is 1 goalkeeper, and 2 of each other position, remembering your created player counts as one. Each novice player has a Skill Bill Number (SBN) indicating their starting skill bills.

Defenders: Rau (SBN=16), Garcia (SBN=16), Ujfalusi (SBN=16), Hejduk (SBN=14), Helueg (SBN=14), Cunningham (SBN=13)

Midfielders: Jensen (SBN=15), Holland (SBN=15), Kilbane (SBN=14), Lazardis (SBN=13)

Forwards: Bravo (SBN=14), Delgado (SBN=14), Morrison (SBN=13), Connolly (SBN=11)

Picking a Logo: Choose one of 19 available logos for the game's opening sequence. This choice is purely preferential.
