Deadpool was released for the Sony Playstation 3, X-Box 360, and PC on Steam on June 25, 2013. There was discussion that it was available brand new for $50.00. The story was written by Daniel Way, a former Deadpool comic writer. The gameplay mixes hack 'n slash and gunplay, with Deadpool frequently breaking the fourth wall and numerous cameos.

Controls

This guide refers to the controls on the Sony Playstation 3 version. Below you can correlate this to the controls on the X-Box 360 if you are playing on that system. If you are playing on Steam, you can make the controls whatever you want.

• PS3 R1 / 360 RS: Fire gun.
• PS3 R2 / 360 RT: Throw gadget.
• PS3 L1 / 360 LS: Target lock.
• PS3 L2 / 360 LT: Reload. Interact. Momentum Attack.
• PS3 Select / 360 Back: Upgrade Menu and Weapon Select.
• PS3 Start / 360 Start: Pause Menu.
• PS3 Up / 360 Up: Look at objective when prompted.
• PS3 Down / 360 Down: Switch gadget.
• PS3 Left / 360 Left: Switch melee weapon.
• PS3 Right / 360 Right: Switch ranged weapon.
• PS3 Left Stick / 360 Left Stick: Move.
• PS3 Right Stick / 360 Right Stick: Look.
• PS3 X / 360 A: Jump.

• Blockbuster - Real name Michael Baer, a hulking member of the Marauders. First appeared in X-Factor #10 (November 1986).
• Cable - Real name Nathan Summers, son of Scott Summers and Madelyne Pryor. First appeared in Uncanny X-Men #201 (January 1986). Known for being sent to the future and returning as a cyborg. Teamed up with Deadpool for Cable and Deadpool (May 2004 - April 2008).
