Master the boss fights in Castlevania II: Simon's Quest. Learn strategies and weaknesses for Grim Reaper, Vampira, and Dracula to collect Dracula's remains and save the world.

Bosses:

1. Grim Reaper

   Location: Brahm Mansion

   Strategy: The Grim Reaper floats and throws scythes. Whip the scythes to destroy them. Equip Holy Water; hitting him with it stuns him, allowing for multiple hits. Alternatively, the "Grim Reaper Quick Kill" involves luring him to the right and using Holy Water when his robe touches the ground, attempting an instant kill. Defeating him yields the Golden Knife, though he is not required to progress.

2. Vampira

   Location: Laruba Mansion

   Strategy: Vampira flies in circles and drops fiery tears. Equip Dracula's Rib to deflect them. Stand left of her pattern, jump, and hit her with the Flame Whip. If Dracula's Rib is equipped, standing still while she attacks will negate damage. Alternatively, use the Golden Knife; timed throws can stun-lock her. Defeating her rewards the Magic Cross, which is essential for entering Dracula's Castle.

3. Dracula

   Location: Dracula's Castle

   Strategy: After assembling Dracula's remains, he appears. He moves in a circle, creating damaging afterimages, and throws fangs. The "Honest" way involves using the Flame Whip or Morning Star, staying in the center or left corner of the plinth, and attacking him while destroying fangs. Laurels can provide invincibility, and the Golden Knife can stun-lock him. It takes 16 Flame Whip hits. The "Easy" way uses the Sacred Flame: immediately jump and throw Sacred Flames at his feet upon his appearance to stun-lock and defeat him quickly. This fight requires significant damage to win.
