Military Junkyard

From the starting point, go right and push the lever to open the vent locks.

Proceed through the vents. You will encounter a human armed with a pistol. Enter the tube on the right.

In the next room, you'll see a seal with three segments, indicating the need to find three hives. Go left into the room with the armed enemy.

Wait for the enemy to approach the door, then grab and throw the door to stun or kill her. Proceed left to the next room.

Here, you'll find the first hive. Spread biomass to open the path. Go left to the next room, kill the armed enemy using the same strategy, remove the grid on the tube, and proceed downwards.

In this room, there are two armed enemies. As soon as you move, they may engage. Try throwing an object at them to dispatch them easily. Remove the grid on the bottom right and advance through the tube.

Grab the grid and throw it at one of the two humans, then engage the other. Return to finish them if necessary. Remove the grid on the bottom, spread biomass on the hive, and proceed left to the next room.

You will find the first biomass sample, which is an upgrade for the monster. Grab the containment unit and move it until it breaks, then squeeze in to consume the sample and acquire Arachnoptysis.

Remove the grid on the left and climb up the path. Shoot webs through the grated floor to hit the lever on the other side, opening the lock.

Go through the tube upwards to return to the room with water where you killed the two armed humans. Proceed through the vents and shoot webs to push the switch, unlocking your path to the right. Advance to the next room.

This room presents the first combat challenge with a group of armed enemies. Use webs and the environment to your advantage, as engaging them directly is dangerous. After defeating them, advance right to reach the elevator shaft.

Go straight right to reach a room with a switch and an armed human. Kill the human and pull the switch to open locks on both the elevator shaft and the room where you fought the group of humans.

Return to the room with the humans and spread biomass on the hive on the bottom right. This opens the seal to the next area. There is a path leading downwards, but it's inaccessible for now. Return to the elevator shaft and enter the seal to proceed to the next area.
