Discover the locations of all five Ancient Memories in Avowed. Learn how to find each collectible and the powerful Godlike passive abilities they grant, boosting your stats and survivability.
Ancient Memories are wisps of blue-white light scattered across the Living Lands in Avowed. There is one Ancient Memory per region, totaling five collectibles that offer lore and new Godlike Abilities. These passive powers can be very useful towards the end of the game, so it's recommended to collect them as you enter each new region.
- Dawnshore: Head east from The Rise Party Camp to find the first Ancient Memory in a Godless Ruin to the northeast. Interact with the wisp on a broken bridge to gain the Remembrance of Kishmal, which buffs your max health by 10%.
- Emerald Stair: Located at the top of the Ranger Outpost. Head west from the Wildwoods Outskirts Party Camp and climb the ladders to the highest floor to find the wisp. This grants the Remembrance of Enhekala, boosting your max Essence by 10%.
- Shatterscarp: Go west from the Sand Sea Oasis fast travel point. Near the Twin Offerings Overlook, defeat Xaurip Chief Grithin. Continue upwards past broken bridges to find the Ancient Memory nestled in an arch-like structure. This grants the Remembrance of Nimanna, enhancing your max stamina by 10%.
- Galawain’s Tusks: Situated near the Restless Cavern, south of the Slumbering Fields fast travel point. You will encounter Phantoms on the way. If the Boundaries of Antiquity side quest is cleared, you can swim directly to the Restless Cavern; otherwise, you'll need to navigate through enemies. Interacting with this memory grants the Remembrance of Maru, raising your attack damage by 10%.
- The Garden: This is the final Ancient Memory and entering this location is a point of no return. Ensure you have collected the previous four before proceeding. Past the Broken Aqueduct, after Sapadal raises a structure, look for a door with a purple ball above it. Yatzli will open it for you. Interacting with the final collectible grants the Remembrance of Sapadal Godlike Ability, which regenerates health when it drops below 50%.
