This guide will meticulously detail your journey through its wonders, ensuring you rescue every stranded Bot and uncover every hidden Puzzle Piece.

Level 3-1: The Shimmering Sands

Your adventure begins on the sun-baked shores of the Shimmering Sands, a vast desert island where ancient ruins whisper tales of forgotten civilizations. This level introduces the treacherous Sand Skitterers and the formidable Dune Guardian.

Walkthrough:

• Starting Area: Upon arrival, you'll be greeted by a trio of Sand Skitterers. These small, scuttling enemies can be dispatched with a precise jump-stomp or a quick Bot Blast. Collect the 2 Astro Bots nestled amongst the initial dunes.
• The Sunken Oasis: Proceeding inland, you'll discover a dried-up oasis. Observe the surrounding weathered pillars; they bear faint symbols. A sequence of pressure plates lies before you. Stepping on them in the correct order, corresponding to the pillar symbols, will reactivate the oasis's ancient water system. A powerful geyser will erupt, propelling you to a higher ledge.
• Hidden Alcove: To the right of the oasis, a sand dune partially conceals a narrow alcove. A well-timed dash will allow you to slip inside. Within this secret space, you'll find a valuable Speed Boost Power-Up and 3 Astro Bots.
• The Sand Worm's Fury: As you venture further, the ground will tremble. A colossal Sand Worm will erupt from the sands, initiating a thrilling chase sequence. Your primary focus must be on evading its burrowing attacks and leaping over the debris it throws. Utilize the small, scattered rock platforms to gain elevation and avoid being swallowed whole.
• Boss Encounter: The Dune Guardian: At the level's conclusion, you'll confront the Dune Guardian, a colossal mechanical scorpion. Its attack patterns are as follows:
  • Tail Sting: The Guardian rears up and lashes out with its venomous tail. A swift dodge to either side is crucial.
  • Sand Blast: It unleashes a cone of abrasive sand. A well-timed jump will allow you to clear the blast radius.
  • Burrow Attack: The Guardian submerges beneath the sand, reappearing elsewhere on the battlefield. Watch for disturbances in the sand to anticipate its emergence point.
  To inflict damage, patiently wait for the Dune Guardian to execute its Tail Sting. Immediately after it misses, its tail will briefly glow, revealing a vulnerable weak point. Jump and perform a stomp attack on this exposed area. Successfully landing three such attacks will vanquish the mechanical menace.
• End of Level: With the Dune Guardian defeated, collect the final 5 Astro Bots and the Puzzle Pieces scattered throughout the arena.

Level 3-2: The Sunken City

Plunge into the enigmatic depths of the Sunken City, a once-grand metropolis now submerged beneath the azure waves. This underwater level introduces unique aquatic movement and the ever-present threat of limited oxygen.

Walkthrough:

• Starting Area: Your journey begins in a flooded plaza. Navigate the submerged ruins, collecting the initial 2 Astro Bots and becoming accustomed to the altered physics of underwater movement.
• Navigating Currents: The Sunken City is riddled with powerful water currents. Some will hinder your progress, while others can be strategically used to reach inaccessible platforms or secret areas. Pay close attention to the direction and strength of the currents.
• Air Pockets: Your oxygen supply is a critical resource. Keep an eye out for shimmering, glowing air pockets that periodically appear throughout the level. Swim into these to replenish your breath and continue your exploration.
• Animated Guardians: Ancient statues, imbued with dormant magic, will awaken and attack as you approach. These lumbering guardians are slow but deliver powerful blows. Utilize the submerged architecture for cover, or lure them into environmental hazards like collapsing structures.
• The Kraken's Embrace: A colossal Kraken, its tentacles spanning the watery expanse, blocks your path. You must carefully maneuver through the gaps created by its flailing limbs, timing your movements to avoid being crushed or ensnared.
• Boss Encounter: The Abyssal Guardian: In the heart of the Sunken City, you'll face the Abyssal Guardian, a formidable mechanical squid. Its offensive capabilities include:
  • Ink Cloud: It spews a dense cloud of ink, severely limiting your visibility. Swiftly swim out of the affected area to regain your sight.
  • Tentacle Slam: The Guardian slams its powerful tentacles down onto the arena. Observe the attack's trajectory and dodge accordingly.
  • Laser Beam: From its central eye, it fires a devastating concentrated laser beam.
  To defeat the Abyssal Guardian, you must target its glowing weak points located on its tentacles. These become exposed after it performs certain attacks. Once enough damage is dealt to the tentacles, its main eye will become vulnerable. A few well-placed Bot Blasts on the eye will seal its fate.
• End of Level: After the Abyssal Guardian's defeat, collect the remaining 8 Astro Bots and the Puzzle Pieces scattered throughout the sunken ruins.
